AASPI is extremely excited to announce that Street Beats photographic exhibition is on again in 2023.

It’s a celebration of street photography from around the world. Street Beats is an open themed street photography exhibition, where photographers can push the boundaries of street photography and showcase their unique creative voice.

Images can be taken from anywhere in the world and not just Australia and it doesn’t matter when they were taken.

Exhibition Applications

We invite all AASPI members to submit their own images. If you are not an AASPI member you can join here.

The exhibition fee is $60 for one image. There is no further cost to exhibitors, AASPI will print and hang all images.

All images will be for sale. If their image is accepted for exhibit, applicants will be asked to set the sale price of their image.

Images MUST be optimised for print. Please submit up to three images in AdobeRGB format, sized to 7000px on the long edge, as a .JPG or .TIFF (flattened) at 360 PPI. If you need guidance on resizing your images, please refer to the following https://www.photoshopessentials.com/basics/how-to-resize-images-for-print-with-photoshop/ . The curation team will review your submissions and select no more than 1 for inclusion in the exhibition.

Promotion

We have prepared templates for you to use to promote your images and the exhibition.

Template 1: Insert your image using Photoshop or any free image editing tool (such as GIMP) by

· Opening the file with an image editing software (Photoshop, GIMP...)

· Placing your image in the template (Photoshop : File / Place Embedded)
