I'm a rank amateur, who has been carrying a camera for fun for almost 50 years.

I've gone from school sport photography through family stuff, then family sport and finally now street (and a bit of architectural-ish stuff), often combined with travel. It's a great way to see Melbourne, or wherever you are at the time.

I seem to have found my niche with monochrome street photography; not that I don't like colour, but I'm more comfortable with mono.

I'll never make a living from this, and I don't want to try - I'm quite sure the fun would disappear if I did.
