STREET BEATS 2020
Street Photography Exhibition
Exhibition Closed
We are extremely excited to announce that Street Beats exhibition is on again in 2020 opening February 28 and running through to March 20 at Michael’s upstairs gallery in Melbourne.
This curated exhibition is open to all AASPI members. Not a member? Don’t worry, you can become one here.
Street Beats is an open themed street photography exhibition, images can be taken anywhere (not just Australia) and can push the boundaries of street photography. The key criteria are quality and impact, and entries will be curated with that in mind. The curation committee’s decision is final, and will not enter into correspondence on the decision.
The exhibition will be held at Michaels Camera store, cnr Elizabeth and Lonsdale streets, Melbourne. Michaels will print all selected images A2 size, so there will be no printing or framing required by you. It doesn’t get much easier to exhibit.
You can submit up to three images, and up to one image will be accepted for the exhibition. The curation committee reserves the right to accept more than one if it feels the exhibition will be enhanced.
How to enter: Entries are now closed.
Printing: Printing will be managed by Michaels Camera Store. All images will be printed on fine art paper. No printing or framing required by you.
Cost: The cost per image will be $60, which is to cover printing and marketing.
Support Bushfire Relief
By entering Street Beats you will also help support those affected by the bushfires. On opening night we will have a silent auction to sell exhibited images. All money raised by the auction will be donated to BlazeAid and Wildlife Victoria. Any unsold images will be returned to you at the end of the exhibition.
The Image Auction is now closed and we managed to raise $1,626.
